Guilford Yacht Club offers some of the most modern amenities available to transients on  Long Island Sound.  In addition to spacious floating docks, each slip is equipped with water, 30amp/50amp electricity and cable T.V.  Also available on the premises are showers, restrooms, tennis courts, a picnic area, a luxurious swimming pool and a pump-out station.  Transients are required to sign a General Liability Wavier to use the facilities.  Guilford Yacht Club also has an exquisite club house with banquet facility for events. Groceries and supplies are available within a short walk or bicycle ride of the Yacht Club, and ice is available at the dock house.

Guilford is the quintessential New England town nestled along the Connecticut shoreline.  Its location on Long Island Sound makes it an easy stopover or destination.  Among other things, Guilford boasts the largest, and what is considered to be the best, Town Green in New England.  The Green serves as the hub of activity and is truly the town's heart and soul. There are many events and concerts held on the Green throughout the summer. Along its perimeter are some of the town's most beautiful historic homes, churches, quaint shopping, antiques, fine restaurants and art galleries.  The Guilford Handcraft Center has made the community a destination for skilled jewellers, potters, weavers and others interested in fine arts and crafts.  Our location along Connecticut's shoreline also makes us a popular destination for kayakers, bicyclists, runners, hikers, birdwatchers and anyone else who enjoys the outdoors.

Transient accommodations can be made for vessels up to 50 ft. in length and are subject to the availability of privately-owned slips.  Rates for 2010 are $3.50 per ft. for vessels up to 46 ft., and $4.00 per ft. for vessels 47 ft. and up.  The manager and dock staff are available for assistance from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm daily.  Call 203 415-3427 or hail VHF channel no. 71 for reservations or assistance.  Master Card, Visa, personal check or cash is accepted.  Cancellations require 24-hour notice.
